Company Profile:

Contact: Stacey Takle - Commercial Recycling Officer

Wastesavers are a third sector organisation that helps businesses reduce their overall waste cost by tailoring recycling options to suit them. Wastesavers can offer a range of services. Our wheeled bins come in a range of sizes and are mainly used by pubs and warehouses. Our bagged service offers a flexible solution primarily for offices. We also offer free IT recycling; the only thing we may need to charge for is broken monitors as they are classed as hazardous waste.

Not only do we offer commercial recycling we also offer recycling collections to all Newport schools for free, have a purpose built education room to teach children the importance of the waste hierarchy; Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Wastesavers are always trying to divert as much material as possible from landfill.

We also have an in house training department WS Training, with courses ranging from CPC to waste management. Another aspect of Wastesavers is our Peak project, an alternative curriculum for children struggling with mainstream education. And finally we also have a community shop here in Newport the Reuse Centre; this is where we take the IT equipment we collect and also household furniture to be reused in social programs and resold to the local community.
