“What makes Dragons work is the consistency. You’re not meeting a different group of people each time — you’re building relationships week after week.

That’s what leads to meaningful referrals. People understand your business properly and actively look for opportunities to introduce you to the right contacts.

It’s become a valuable part of how we build relationships locally and generate new business.”

How to Join

Joining Dragons is straightforward. Here’s how the process works:

    1. Visit as a guest
      1. Come along to a weekly Wednesday meeting – no cost, no commitment. You’ll get a feel for the group, meet the members, and see how the meeting works first-hand. You’re welcome to visit twice before making any decisions.
    1. Check category availability
      1. We operate one member per profession, so we’ll confirm whether your category is currently open. If it is, great – you can move forward with an application. If it’s filled, we can add you to a waiting list and keep you updated.
    1. Apply
      1. When you’re ready, complete the short application form on this page. Tell us a bit about your business, your category, and why you think Dragons is the right fit for you.
    1. Meet the members
      1. Before a final decision is made, we’ll make sure you’ve had the chance to properly connect with the group. This is as much about you finding the right fit as it is about us.
    1. Approval and welcome
      1. Once your application is approved, you’ll be welcomed into the group as a full member – with your exclusive category, your directory listing, and a seat at the table every Wednesday.

Frequently Asked Questions

Membership is £150 per year plus £40 per month. The monthly fee includes breakfast at every weekly meeting. There are no hidden costs or sign-up fees.

Members are expected to attend regularly – consistency is what makes the referral network work. That said, life happens, and the group is understanding about occasional absences. We’d ask that you’re committed to being there for at least 80% of weekly meetings. By the way, you can also send a ‘sub’ in your place if you can’t make a meeting, but this is optional (unless you want to keep your attendance percentage up).

We operate an exclusive category model – one member per profession – so if your category is currently filled, there wouldn’t be a place available right now. Get in touch and we’ll let you know whether your category is open, and we can add you to a waiting list if needed.

Yes – and we’d encourage it. You’re welcome to attend up to two weekly meetings as a guest, completely free and with no obligation. It’s the best way to get a feel for the group before making any commitment.

Once you’ve visited and decided you’d like to apply, the process is straightforward. Fill in the application form, and we’ll be in touch to discuss next steps. We aim to turn things around quickly so you’re not left waiting.

We’d obviously be sorry to see you go, but membership isn’t a long-term lock-in. If you have any concerns at any point, we’d rather have an honest conversation than have someone stay who isn’t getting value from it.
